Bob Eggington has a good knowledge of most of the popular Content Production and Management Systems (CPMSs) for web sites, both proprietary and open-source. These include Vignette, Macromedia, Documentum, Microsoft, Mediasurface, Zope, Midgard etc.

He was co-founder of Dremedia, the video analysis software company, and also co-founder of TV Genius, the Web-based Electronic Programme Guide.

He has extensive experience in project management and project direction, including the introduction of large-scale networked media distribution and editing systems, and broadcast production systems.

He has managed suppliers of all kinds, including hardware, software and support services.
